    　Stand Up Paddle boarding, or SUP, is a new type of activity that is gaining attention around the world, especially on social networking sites. It is a fun activity born in Hawaii where people ride on a flat board and use a paddle to go through the ocean, lakes, and rivers. Why don't you join us to experience SUP which is gradually becoming popular in Ishigaki Island?

     

    The 🌴 proceeding is a mangrove forest, a natural monument! 🌴

    　The field, "Miyara River hirugi forest" is designated as a national natural monument and is a popular spot on Ishigaki Island. The lush mangroves are unique to the subtropical zone. The calm environment is perfect for SUP experience.

  • The target age range is 3-59 years old.
    ※3～11歳のお子様は、当日の海況やご参加人数によりSUPではなく安定感のあるカヌーをご案内する場合がございます。

 

  • Meeting and dismissal times may vary depending on the season and field conditions on the day of the tour. The day before the tour, the store will inform you of the meeting place and time. If you do not hear from the store by the evening of the day before, please call 0980-87-5722 (Ishigaki Island ADVENTURE PiPi).

 

  • Tours will be held rain or shine. However, the tour may be cancelled if it is determined that the field is unsafe.

 

  • Please change into clothes that you do not mind getting wet before you arrive.

 

  • Please use the restroom before coming to the event. (There are no restrooms near the site.)

 

  • Please contact us in advance if you will be late.

 

  • Hot showers are available around Ishigaki Port Terminal. Please ask your guide if you would like to use them.

 

  • The 6:00/17:00 course is outside of the hot shower service hours.

 

  • The 6:00/17:00 course SUP is a plan to go through the mangrove river to see the sunrise and sunset. (In case of inclement weather, the mangrove SUP tour will continue as usual.)
