I was there alone, but our guide, Shinobu, explained everything so thoroughly that I was able to enjoy the tour without any worries. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t great, so I couldn’t see the sunrise, but the mangrove SUP tour was very magical, and I’m really glad I had that experience. She took lots of photos for me, so I have some great memories to take home.

Last year I participated at our sister location on Iriomote Island, and this year I took on the challenge of Ishigaki Island! It’s such a treat to be able to capture scenery like this with just one flight.

I was sleepy in the morning, but seeing the sunrise made me think, “I’m so glad I got up early!” It was that kind of tour. There were some international visitors on the tour as well, and I felt like the guide handled things very well in both languages. Those visitors seemed to be having a great time, too.

The hotel shuttle service was a huge help. In the morning, we had the shuttle all to ourselves—it was just our family.

I was so excited to try stand-up paddleboarding for the first time! Apparently, it’s designed to hold two or more people (though that’s pretty challenging), and it was huge.

I took a night tour yesterday, and the guide told me, “I also recommend the sunrise tour,” so I decided to join it on the spur of the moment.
I was impressed by how the roles were divided among different guides for the sunrise tour. I was able to see both the starry sky and the sunrise, so I’m completely satisfied with this trip.

During Golden Week, my young son wanted to see the sunrise, so we booked a tour with Pippi on Ishigaki Island. My son seemed to get used to it right away and was even standing up and playing with the guide! We took it easy, sitting down to take photos and just relaxing.

We met at 5:30 a.m. I’d recommend this to anyone who wants to get some fresh air but doesn’t want to get sunburned, since it’s not too hot in the morning. I was worried there might be waves while we were SUPing, but there weren’t any—it was a breeze.

We met at the hotel while it was still dark and the stars were visible. Once we arrived at the spot, we were shown how to use the equipment, and then we got started.

I was feeling a bit down because I wasn't sure if I'd be able to see it through the clouds, but I caught a glimpse of it through the clouds!! Since there's no one around in the morning, it feels like I have the place all to myself.

I was a little nervous at first, but when I finally took the plunge and gave it a try, I was surprised at how stable it was. The instructor was so kind and full of energy that we got really excited—even though it was early in the morning. The two of us on our girls' trip took over 100 photos!!
