I had a blast on my first trip to Ishigaki!
I’ll focus my comments on how things were handled during the tour.
●Reason for Participating
Because I’m not familiar with safety precautions at the beach or the locations of snorkeling spots. For those who aren’t used to it, taking a tour is safer, and you can leave the scheduling to the tour operators. It’s also convenient that you can rent equipment, so you don’t have to bring anything from home.
●About the Tour
The Kawahira Bay SUP and Blue Cave tours are booked as a package.
Since we had to return to the Euglena Terminal at noon, the 30-minute one-way travel time (2 hours total) was a bit of a hassle. Each activity on-site lasted one hour. I would have liked a little more time for snorkeling, but I guess that depends on how much energy I have.
●Tour Guide
Although I had different guides in the morning and afternoon, they were all very friendly and great at telling stories! They shared tips on Ishigaki’s best food and sights. Since their recommendations are based on firsthand experience, you can’t go wrong with any of the places they suggest.
●About the Company
I was surprised to see about 30 people gathered at the meeting point, but we split into groups of four or five cars per route and set off. You can’t really tell what a company is like just from the registration process, but it was reassuring to see that it was a large company. There were some international participants as well, but they seemed well-accustomed to the process, and everything went smoothly.

Participate in Real Catan on a spectacular beach in Ishigaki Island. The game on the beautiful sandy beach was a great success! By collecting resources while picking up trash, we were able to contribute to environmental protection of the island. The photos we had taken are also wonderful memories.

The Beach Sports Day on Ishigaki Island was a lot of fun and recreation on the island's spectacular beaches, and both adults and children had a great time! Not only the competition but also the trash pickup time was a great way to form a feeling of gratitude for the island. I was also personally happy to receive a photo as a gift!â

The Sports Day on Ishigaki Island allowed us to enhance team unity while moving our bodies to the fullest in the midst of nature. In the inter-team competitions, communication naturally deepened as participants talked and strategized with their peers and realized the importance of teamwork.
Through the program, we were able to get to know a new side of our colleagues, which is expected to have a positive impact on our daily work. In addition, the content of the program, with its message of environmental protection, was appealing because it allowed us to contribute to SDG activities while having fun at the same time!

We enjoyed the field day in the natural surroundings of Ishigaki Island. Various competitions were prepared, and all of them were full of laughter. The staffs were nice in their management and we enjoyed it too!

Snorkeling was the best!
I couldn't swim, so I had to be carried there in a swim ring... I'm sure it was a lot of work for them, lol.
A gap in the coral?! It was incredibly deep, and the water was crystal clear!
The guy who showed me around was a handsome guy with naturally curly hair.
I had a great time starting from the ride in the van on the way there.
