20 Sightseeing Spots on Taketomi Island
1) Kondoy Beach
The white sandy beaches and emerald green sea can be seen beyond the horizon. The sparkling sea and pure white sandy beach, like glasswork, are perfect for the image of a tropical island. The museum provides visitors with a wide range of knowledge, including symbols from a time when there were no letters, warasan (rope tying), and the origin of the mincer weaving pattern.

(15) Ngubuhuru Observatory
The name "Nbufuru" comes from a legend that a cow owned by a resident in the past used to make a high hill in the middle of the night by pushing up dirt and stones with its horns, and the hill was named after the cow's cry, "Nbufuru, Nbufuru. There used to be a lookout tower, but it has been gone for some time and seems to have been reconstructed in recent times.
Misaki

The well is said to have been discovered because a dog kept by a god in an old village myth kept its tail wet despite the drought.
