| Career History | I grew up surrounded by the lush nature of Hiroshima and have loved playing outdoors ever since I was a child. I fell in love with the beautiful ocean and unspoiled nature of Ishigaki Island, so I decided to move there. I currently work as a marine tour guide on Ishigaki Island. Through my tours, I share the island’s charm with visitors, and every day I work with my team to keep our shop lively and fun. |

― What I Value Most as a Guide ―
— Aoi Asaeda's Story —
I wanted to read while gazing out at the beautiful ocean. I was looking for a place where I could work by the ocean and spend my days off there as well. That’s why I came to Ishigaki Island.
What I want to convey through these tours is the wonder and importance of nature. The plants and animals you encounter on the night tours—whether they’re poisonous or have unusual shapes—always have a reason for it. Once you understand that reason, you’ll see them in a whole new light.
We can provide assistance in English and Chinese, so please feel free to ask if you're visiting from overseas.

My family and I visited Ishigaki Island, and we decided that snorkeling at the Blue Cave was an absolute must. That decision was absolutely the right one! Thanks especially to our guide, Aoi, it turned out to be an amazing experience. She was friendly, fun, and full of energy—and she speaks several languages fluently. First, we walked through a paradise-like setting to reach the Blue Cave. The snorkeling that followed was truly unforgettable—crystal-clear water, a wide variety of coral, and vibrantly colored fish. Aoi even took some amazing photos of us underwater. There were small children in our group, but she took great care of them and made sure everyone stayed safe.
I highly recommend it! Even though I’m not a strong swimmer, I really enjoyed snorkeling. It wasn’t scary at all. Seeing the beautiful coral reefs and the varying depths of the seabed was an unforgettable experience. Aoi’s skills were outstanding, and she was very knowledgeable. She also explained the unique features of Ishigaki Island and told us about foods we can only enjoy here.
Our guide, Aoi, was very kind and spoke both English and Chinese very well. She gave us detailed explanations and took lots of wonderful photos for us. I’m truly grateful to her. The Blue Grotto was also incredibly beautiful; the water was crystal clear, and we were able to see beautiful coral and lots of fish.
